ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an Automation Engineer with our client, you will be part of a daily routine where one day is never like the other. In this role, you will primarily work with PLC programming in Siemens while also being out with customers to set up and commission machines. You will also provide support to customers and conduct walkthroughs after commissioning. You will work on a project basis together with other automation engineers and other engineering disciplines, where the projects vary in size and present unique requirements. Since each project is unique, you will constantly use your problem-solving skills and creativity to create tailored solutions based on the customer's needs.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a post-secondary education in automation
• Has previous work experience in automation
• Has machine knowledge and work experience in building machines
• Is fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work

It is advantageous if you have:

• A background in electrical engineering, either through education or experience
• Experience with any of the following: Fanuc or ABB robots and Siemens

You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others, and you have the ability to build trusting relationships with customers and colleagues. We also appreciate creativity in your thinking and a solution-oriented approach.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at Friday, but the ambition is for you to eventually be employed by the company.
