Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for Animal Caretakers for farms in Västra Götaland ahead of the spring season 2025.

About the Position:

We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible animal caretakers for full-time positions in Västra Götaland County. Your main responsibilities will include daily care of cows, which involves daily attention, milking with robots (Lely or Delaval), and tied-up care. Feeding and health checks are also part of your daily work. Operating machinery is also involved, so we consider it a significant advantage if you have experience operating tractors or loaders. Working hours are full-time/daytime (40 hours/week). Weekend work may occur. Salary according to collective agreement, vacation compensation, and occupational pension.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a good eye for animals and experience working with cows. Important qualities include being loyal and diligent, flexible, and structured. Working on a farm involves a lot of freedom under responsibility, and you should not be afraid to jump in where needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cows/cattle
• Responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Driver's license (B)
• Experience operating machinery is an advantage
• Knowledge of artificial insemination/pregnancy checks is highly meritorious
