About the company

Cramers Flowers is a family-owned business founded in 1959. Their Garden Center is located in Hillared and offers a complete range of flowers, garden plants, cut flowers, pond accessories, tools, and other accessories for home and garden. The Garden Center is open every day of the week and they are seeking reinforcements in the nursery for the 2025 season.

What does the role offer?

As an employee with us, you will have a varied role that combines plant care and customer contact.

Plant care: Watering and weeding to keep them in top condition.
Weeding and maintenance: Keeping plant tables and surfaces tidy.
Unpacking and labeling: Receiving deliveries, labeling plants, and placing them correctly.
Customer service and advice: Helping customers with plant selection and providing care advice.

In the autumn, we also focus on pruning trees and, in some cases, planting at the customer's location.

This is a seasonal job where the start of the season is weather-dependent, but it usually kicks off at the end of March or beginning of April and runs until the end of September or October.

The working hours are mainly weekdays 9:00-18:00, with work every other weekend.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in plants and gardening, and who has good knowledge of plants and their care. Being able to give our customers the right advice and guidance is an important part of the role, and therefore we value experience and knowledge in the field. Having an education in gardening or plant care is advantageous.

You enjoy a customer-oriented environment, are practical, and comfortable working both independently and in a team. Since the work is outdoors year-round, it is important that you enjoy being outside in all weather conditions. Additionally, you are proactive and have the ability to stay focused and work systematically even when the pace is high.
