Borås Murningsarbeten AB is looking for someone with solid experience working as a Financial Manager/Accounting Manager.  With us, you will be part of a secure workplace with an open atmosphere, where engagement, collaboration, and development are in focus.

The position entails overall responsibility for one of the group's (HG Handverksgruppen AB) economic centers, where you will manage finances and payroll for several subsidiaries. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop with a client that is in a dynamic and expansive phase.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in the role of accounting manager, preferably within a corporate structure where reporting requirements are high. There are demands for high financial competence, good reporting skills, and a strong ability to prioritize and structure your work independently. Experience from companies in the construction industry is an advantage. You have a collaborative attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. In the role of accounting manager, you will also have personnel responsibility.

Start: January 2026

Duration: 12-14 months

Employment type: Temporary (due to parental leave)

Location: Borås

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 5 years of experience as a Financial Manager/Accounting Manager or in a similar senior financial role 
  • Experience in project management and progressive profit recognition
  • Good knowledge of Swedish accounting legislation.
  • Experience in producing financial reports (monthly & quarterly reports as well as annual accounts).
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • An open attitude towards operational tasks.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Fortnox is a requirement.
  • Experience with Bygglet, Fieldly, Visma & PowerBI is an advantage. 
  • Good knowledge of collective agreements in Construction & Painting and experience in payroll administration

Personality:

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills as much of the monthly work is based on common deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate closely with colleagues and management.
  • Proactive with a strong drive to improve and streamline processes.
  • Very good ability to analyze financial information.
  • Willingness to work practically/hands-on, for example with daily bookkeeping and payroll as well as other tasks within the financial area.
