Do you have experience in a logistics environment and want to work in a context that makes a difference?

We are now looking for warehouse staff for FörsA located in Gothenburg! We are seeking a team member for the Am/Weapon section, but there may also be opportunities to work in other sections.

The Am/Weapon section consists of eight employees and handles orders regarding ammunition and weapons, both in direct contact with employees at Amf4 and in various storage facilities. In the Goods section, you will work in a team of twelve people handling incoming and outgoing goods as well as conducting transports. The tasks are varied and involve daily personal contact with both colleagues and customers.

In the Services section, you will work in a team of eleven people. The Services section primarily handles the distribution of personal equipment. Your tasks will include a lot of contact with employees at Amf4 as well as inventory management of equipment.

In the Operations Organization, five employees work with the delivery of medical technical equipment and wartime placement of materials in storage.

About the Unit

The Logistics Unit's main task is to provide logistical support to the units operating within the Gothenburg garrison. The unit consists of approximately 50 employees distributed across a management team and two departments.

Main Responsibilities

The tasks vary depending on which section you work in but mainly involve providing service by conducting goods reception, inventory management, and distribution of materials to operations within the Armed Forces. The work is physically varied and heavy lifting occurs. Work may take place outdoors regardless of the weather.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Driving license B
  • High school education with passing grades, or equivalent deemed suitable by the employer
  • Good experience working in a digital computer environment including the Office suite.
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

We are looking for someone who is engaged and service-oriented. You are a good team player while also willing to take initiative and responsibility. You are quality-conscious, development-oriented, and have a sense of order and good planning. You have good initiative and collaboration skills. It is very important that you are meticulous and have a good ability to prioritize when the workload is high. You are positive and outgoing and enjoy having various contacts both internally and externally. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge and experience from the Armed Forces' operations, materials, and material processes.
  • Knowledge and experience from accounting systems SAP-PRIO
  • Experience from working in a logistics environment, e.g., warehouse/storage
  • Completed military service
  • Forklift license
  • Truck driving license

Employment form: 100% Civil permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Evening and weekend work with overnight stays may occur, as well as the obligation to participate in training and exercises and heightened readiness.
