We are now looking for a Permitting and Rights Manager with a focus on rights for our unit Permitting & Rights.

The unit consists of about 60 employees who work to manage existing and secure new permits and rights for power lines, which are prerequisites for the company to build and maintain the electricity grid. You will be part of our national department Management & Development, with 15 colleagues spread across the country - from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south. The department has an overarching responsibility that encompasses all of Sweden with tasks in permitting and rights management, legal support and advice, as well as planning and easement monitoring.

As a Permitting and Rights Manager focusing on Rights, you will work with various issues where you will:

• Respond to inquiries regarding existing rights
• Represent the company at land survey proceedings
• Monitor existing rights and, where applicable, negotiate new ones
• Be the unit's outward face regarding incoming inquiries about rights both internally and externally
• Contribute relevant real estate legal expertise in the acquisition and transfer of facilities
• Be responsible for digital and physical archiving
• Business development

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in, for example, land surveying, urban planning, or law, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license

Preferred qualifications for the position:

• Experience in land access and land lease, preferably within infrastructure projects
• Preparation/consulting services in landowner contacts, land access, and permits
• Handling or applying for land survey proceedings
• Representing the business towards relevant authorities and the public
• Documentation planning as well as digital and physical archiving
