ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is one of the largest technical consulting companies in the Nordics, and here you will be welcomed into a group with technical expertise and strong industry knowledge. Together, you support both civilian customers and Sweden's total defense. In the role of mechanical engineer, you will work on a project basis with hydraulic systems primarily used in the defense sector. For example, you will ensure that the design meets all technical requirements and engage in technical discussions with the end customer. In this role, you will work daytime, weekdays, and be based at the office in Arboga. Occasional travel may occur, for example, for customer support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Engage in technical discussions regarding hydraulics with the end customer and contribute practical knowledge
• Implement functions such as pumps, hoses, and other components in the system
• Document the design in a way that enables implementation and facilitates for service technicians
• Inspect and verify the completed design, and develop instructions for implementation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a relevant education in mechanical engineering from university, college, or vocational school, or possesses experience that we assess as equivalent
• Has good knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required in daily work
• Has Swedish citizenship, which is required to undergo security clearance

It is advantageous if you have

• Experience from a similar role as a mechanical engineer
• Experience in technical documentation work
• Practical experience in assembly and adjustment
• Experience working in or for the defense or defense industry
