The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Lambohov Health Center has approximately 11,700 registered patients and is centrally located but has both urban and rural areas in its catchment area.

Job Description

Specialist physician in general medicine. Proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Has Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. Experience of Swedish healthcare and interest in supervision is meritorious. A driving license (B) is required.

Team

We often work in teams with district nurses, psychologists, dieticians, rehabilitation coordinators, medical administrators, and child health care nurses.

About You

You are a specialist physician in general medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You have a Swedish medical license (attached to the application) and Swedish language skills corresponding to level Swedish C1. As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are self-assured, have good collaboration skills with others in the team, are efficient, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and enjoy teamwork. You are unpretentious and communicate clearly. We value your commitment to business development and that you have social competence and can meet different people based on their needs. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
