Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager for our client in the process industry

We are looking for a mechanical engineer/project manager for our client's maintenance organization. The assignment is suitable for you who want to work in a technology-intensive business at the forefront and who want to lead projects that contribute to increased operational reliability, modernization, and technical development in an advanced process facility.

You will be part of the client's Technical Service team. The role is broad and varied with responsibility for driving projects from pre-project planning to installation and commissioning. The tasks are carried out both in the field and at the desk, creating a good balance between engineering analysis work and practical problem-solving.

The facilities include, among other things:
• Rotating and static equipment
• Pumps, compressors, and turbines
• Piping systems, storage tanks, and pressure vessels
• Heat exchangers, dryers, and other advanced process equipment

You will be a key person in the ongoing development work to increase operational reliability and efficiency in production.

• Lead and execute maintenance, improvement, and renewal projects
• Ensure project implementation regarding timelines, quality, and costs
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and support the workshop in technical matters
• Ensure quality in the work environment, risk analyses, and follow-up of contractors in the field
• Procurement and supplier contacts in collaboration with purchasing functions
• Collaborate with the client's global engineering resources on larger or complex projects
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of methods and processes

• Engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent competence
• Experience from industrial maintenance or project management
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with systems and ability to quickly learn new tools

Meritorious:
• Experience in the process industry
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of SAP-PM and/or AutoCAD
