Transtema maintains today's and tomorrow's communication networks in Sweden and the Nordic countries, and we are currently on an exciting growth journey.

We are looking for someone who wants to take on a key role as a field technician and build, develop, and ensure a high-quality stable delivery towards the Swedish Transport Administration's installations and communication networks, primarily along the railways.

Responsibilities

As a Field Technician at Transtema, you will primarily work with our client, the Swedish Transport Administration (TRV). The work involves construction and installation work, primarily along the railway, to future-proof a safe and high-quality communication network and thereby meet the requirements that our client has now and in the future. We are looking for someone who currently works as a railway technician, fiber technician, and/or has expertise in some of the following areas; MobiSir, Radio Link, Transmission, IP networks, and Fiber, and who wants to be part of this exciting journey with us.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has

• experience in installations within construction and installation for the Swedish Transport Administration or clients with equivalent work primarily in the railway sector
• security training within rail and road
• experience in any of the following: fiber installation, transmission, MobiSir installations, or Radio Link construction
• driver's license B
• can be based in areas around Örebro, Västerås, Borlänge, Karlstad and also be out in the field, with travel days, when the job requires

Meritorious:

• Experience working with the Swedish Transport Administration's telecom equipment
• IP network installations, camera installations - (router, switches, DWDM)
• Fiber certification
