Dockstavarvet is a world-leading company that manufactures combat, patrol, and pilot boats. The company has over 100 years of experience in the industry and has been part of the SAAB group since 2018. The shipyard has long been known for its high construction standards and ability to deliver tailored solutions for its customers. They handle everything from design, construction, and production to commissioning, delivery, and after-sales service.

They are currently in an expansive phase with a good order intake and many exciting projects! The headquarters and production facility are located in Docksta, Kramfors municipality, in the midst of the scenic High Coast, close to Örnsköldsvik, Kramfors, and Härnösand.

Your Responsibilities

As an industrial worker at Dockstavarvet, you will primarily build and repair combat boats. The tasks vary and are based on your profile and previous skills, but we are looking for welders, electricians, and assemblers. Welding is primarily done in aluminum, so experience with this material is desirable. Additionally, various types of assembly and electrical wiring are carried out in the boats.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a creative problem solver, willing to learn and develop in your profession. Your personality is important to us, and therefore we seek someone with personal drive, positivity, and a sense of responsibility. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team with others. It is important that you have prior knowledge of reading technical drawings and that you are meticulous in your work.

Additional Information

This position means that you will be employed by Konsultia but will spend your working days at Dockstavarvet. The working hours are full-time and during the day. The position is initially a fixed-term employment for 6 months, but the need is long-term, and the opportunities for a permanent position are very high!

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement to work as a consultant with us.
