PJ Jonsson & Söner is a market-leading manufacturer of mobile stone crushing plants and screening stations in Sweden. We also have a large international market in countries such as Norway, Ireland, and Australia. We manufacture all our products from our own design to finished machines in our workshop in Billsta, Örnsköldsvik.

We are now looking for welders for our production department located in Billsta.

About the position

• Perform welding tasks using various welding methods, primarily MIG/MAG and gas metal arc welding
• Carry out work involving drilling, cutting, and gas cutting
• Work independently from drawings and instructions
• Customer support as needed

As a welder at Jonsson, you will be involved in creating the foundation of our machines. We have both final welding, which includes frames, larger pockets, and platforms, as well as detail welding.

Your profile:

For the role of welder, you should

• Have a high school education
• Have training and/or experience in MIG/MAG welding
• Understand how to read drawings and instructions
• Experience in assembly work or similar work is an advantage
• Be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

As a person, you are meticulous and structured, able to work well both in a team and independently, and have good problem-solving skills. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We apply a probationary employment period in the form of an initial fixed-term employment of 6 months, which will transition to permanent employment unless otherwise stated.
