During the training, you will be employed by us at Dala Industrisupport and receive practical training on-site at BAE Systems Hägglunds – a world-leading company that develops and manufactures advanced tracked vehicles and combat vehicles for military purposes.

How the Training Works:

• Theory and Practice: The training takes place in Örnsköldsvik. You will receive a combination of theoretical elements and practical training to quickly become a valuable part of our team.
• Personal Guidance: The group consists of 5 participants, meaning you will receive close and personal training from our experienced trainer from Dala Industrisupport.
• Salary and Working Hours: You will work weekdays from 07:00 to 16:00 and receive a salary of approximately 24,000–25,000 SEK per month during the training period. After the training, shift work may occur, and the starting salary at BAE Systems Hägglunds is around 31,000 SEK per month.
• A Secure Start: The program is designed to ensure that you have a safe, efficient, and long-term introduction to the profession. The trainee program is tailored to meet the industry's high standards and ensure that you acquire the right skills to succeed as a welder.

Who Are You? We see you as someone with a genuine interest and willingness to learn welding. You do not need previous experience – we welcome everyone, regardless of background. However, if you have worked with assembly/mechanics or engaged in practical activities in your spare time, it is considered an advantage.

To thrive in the role of a welder, it is important that you are self-reliant and enjoy working independently, while also being able to collaborate effectively in a team. To succeed in the training and in your future role, we believe you have:

• Interest in the Industry: You are curious and eager to learn about the industry and its practices.
• Endurance: The welding profession can be physically demanding and often involves working in heat and stationary positions.

Basic Requirements:

• Basic computer skills.
• Passing results on drug tests and security interviews.
• No medical obstacles to working as a welder.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Residence in Örnsköldsvik or willingness to relocate.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, professionally or as a hobby.
• Experience in practical professions such as workshop work, assembly, or forestry machine operation.
• Forklift and crane training.
