Aremge is looking for an experienced Data Engineer (level 4 – expert) with strong backend skills and a genuine interest in building scalable and reliable data solutions. You will be a key person in the effort to create robust data ecosystems that enable high-quality analysis and insight-driven operations.

Location: Södertälje (3 days/week on-site)

Scope: 100%, 2025-11-03 – 2027-11-30 Language: English required, Swedish preferred

About the role

You will work with modern cloud architecture and develop data platforms and pipelines in AWS. The work includes data modeling, integration, quality assurance, and implementation of Data Mesh principles to enable a scalable and sustainable data environment.

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • Documented expertise in AWS architecture and data governance

  • Practical experience with Snowflake

  • Strong competence in data engineering, backend development, and pipeline design

  • Focus on data quality and data cleansing as a foundation for analysis

  • Ability to work strategically with Data Mesh principles

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with DBT, Witboost, and Collibra

  • Relevant certifications are a plus

Personal qualities:

  • Independent, analytical, and quality-conscious

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Academic degree in computer science, data engineering, or equivalent
