The Intensive Care Unit (ICU), IVAK, at Kalix Hospital is looking for YOU, an intensive care nurse who already has knowledge of caring for patients with compromised vital functions. The ICU is part of IVAK, which belongs to emergency care and the Division of Medicine and Emergency Care. We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is considered an advantage if you have specialist training in intensive care or previous experience in emergency care or intensive care. Knowledge of the documentation systems VAS or Cosmic is also a plus. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are flexible, with good empathetic and problem-solving skills as you can analyze and solve complex problems. To thrive in the role, we also see that you have good collaboration skills as you value and see the benefits of working together with others.

The ICU in Kalix consists of two ICU beds and two HIA beds. The ICU beds are equipped for respiratory care. The tasks are varied. You will have close collaboration with the staff in the emergency department and play an important role in working with critically ill patients in the emergency room.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position with working hours during the day, evening, and night. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
