WHAT

Unilabs is looking for a Data Protection Coordinator / Compliance Coordinator / Regulatory Manager (LDPC) for a key role in our Nordic Legal & Compliance team. Your focus here will be to translate legal requirements and policies into smart, practical solutions in everyday life. You will work closely with our Nordic Legal & Compliance Officer and the Group's DPO and Compliance team, and you will have a significant impact on how we at Unilabs ensure a high and sustainable compliance effort.

As an LDPC, you will drive issues related to data protection, compliance, and regulatory requirements connected to our operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland – often in a complex and changing environment where patient data legislation, GDPR, AI, and ISO 27001 intersect.

The position is based in Solna and offers flexibility through hybrid work. Some Nordic travel may occur.

As an LDPC with us, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning and further developing our local data protection and compliance agenda in line with Group policies.
  • Being the point of contact for supervisory authorities (IMY, Datatilsynet), internal stakeholders, DPO, and Compliance Group.
  • Managing and developing our processing register (RoPA), as well as leading DPIA/LIA, TIA, and vendor reviews.
  • Handling personal data incidents, data subject requests, and other regulatory matters.
  • Driving compliance activities in areas such as third-party risk, gifts & representation, whistleblowing, and anti-corruption.
  • Strengthening our compliance culture through training, communication, and targeted campaigns.
  • Supporting contracts and projects with a focus on data protection and regulations.
  • Following up and interpreting new regulatory requirements and ensuring they are implemented practically.
  • Contributing to broader regulatory compliance, e.g., in occupational health, medical technology, or ISO certification.

You will report to the Nordic Legal & Compliance Officer and have a dotted line to the Group's DPO and Head of Group Compliance.

WHO

We are looking for someone who is both operationally hands-on and strategically coordinating in their approach, and you thrive on keeping deliveries together, creating clarity, and building trust throughout the organization.

We are primarily looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3–5 years of practical experience working with data protection and/or compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong GDPR expertise – you have worked with RoPA, DPIA/LIA, incident management, data processing agreements, transfers, etc.
  • The ability to independently prioritize and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English – both written and verbal.
  • Digital maturity and confidence in working with digital tools and processes.

It is advantageous if you also have experience in:

  • Compliance areas such as ABAC, TPRM, whistleblowing, ethics programs, or internal controls.
  • Other regulatory requirements in areas such as occupational health, medtech/pharmaceuticals, or information security.
  • ISO 27001, accreditation, or certification.
  • ONETrust or other compliance and data protection tools.
  • Life sciences or the healthcare sector.

We believe the right person for the role should be:

  • Driven, structured, and solution-oriented – you get things done.
  • Pragmatic and business-oriented – you find feasible solutions that work in everyday life.
  • Communicative and relationship-building – you instill trust and build bridges.
  • Integrity strong and responsible – you dare to stand up for compliance even when it challenges.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, and we apply a probationary period.
