Engaged Employee Wanted at Mekonomen Car Workshop in Ängelholm

We are now looking for an engaged and versatile employee for Mekonomen Car Workshop in Ängelholm – a person who enjoys customer contact as much as working with various types of cars. The role is divided between work as a car mechanic (approximately 50%) and service advisor/customer receiver (approximately 50%), making it perfect for you who want to combine technical work with customer service and advice.

We believe that you who are applying are technically skilled, social, and service-oriented, with the ability to switch between practical workshop work and work in customer reception. You take pride in your profession and understand the importance of always prioritizing the customer.

The role includes service, repairs, and troubleshooting on passenger cars and light trucks of most brands, as well as receiving customers, booking, quote management, and follow-up.

To be considered for the position, we see that you have:

• Documented experience as a vehicle mechanic
• Good customer skills and enjoy direct contact with customers
• Good administrative skills and computer proficiency (booking systems, calculations, email management, etc.)
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Relevant vehicle education
• At least a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a role that combined mechanic work with customer reception, advice, or service.

Other

The position is a full-time position with a six-month probationary period and then permanent employment. We apply individual salary setting. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
