About the role

As an Accountant at Effektiv, you will be an important advisor to our clients – primarily small and medium-sized companies in various industries. You will work with ongoing accounting, tax returns, and advisory services with a strong focus on client relationships and business development.

With us, you will have your own responsibility for a varied client portfolio, while also having close access to colleagues to collaborate with in a helpful and open culture.

Your profile:

• Post-secondary education in finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably from an agency.
• Accustomed to working consultatively with several different clients and billing on an hourly basis.
• Confident in ongoing accounting, tax returns, and advisory services.
• Good system knowledge – advantageous if you have worked in modern accounting systems.
• You enjoy direct contact with clients and thrive in a business-oriented role.
• Independent, unpretentious, and proactive.
