The organization’s working method is based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses, where each individual's needs are the focus.

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we build on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization’s resources and budget.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
• Experience in care and support work.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or a university degree in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Experience working with complex support needs.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Temporary position  Working hours: As needed.

Working time: Rolling schedule that includes daytime, evenings, and weekends.  Start date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
