Do you want to work with production technology in a modern manufacturing industry?
We at WeStaff are now looking for a technician for an innovative manufacturing company in northern Stockholm. Here you will have a broad role where you become an important link between production, design, and development, and where you will work closely with operators, technicians, and management to create improvements throughout the manufacturing chain.
About the position
As a production technician, you will work on developing and streamlining production processes in sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, and electrical connections. You will be a key person who ensures that work methods and routines maintain high quality and contribute to safety, efficiency, and long-term development.
Examples of tasks:
- Drive production technical improvements focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Support team leaders and the quality department with deviations and complaints.
- Review, develop, and document work methods, processes, and instructions.
- Collaborate with design on product development, drawing documentation, and selection of manufacturing methods.
- Participate in planning maintenance, repairs, and calibration.
- Lead and participate in improvement projects according to LEAN methodology.
- Ensure that routines, guidelines, and standards are followed and further developed.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in production technology and the manufacturing industry and who wants to contribute both your experience and your commitment. You thrive in a role where you can combine technical and practical work with improvement projects. As a person, you are social, solution-oriented, and meticulous, and you find it easy to collaborate with different functions in the organization.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry as a maintenance/service technician or equivalent.
- Reading blueprints: good knowledge in interpreting both mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Measurement technology: basic knowledge and experience working with measuring equipment.
- Sheet metal processing: practical experience from production.
- Welding: experience in welding work.
- Assembly: previous experience in assembly in a workshop or production environment.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with ERP/MPS systems and good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
It is also meritorious if you have:
- Experience in automation and calibration.
- Electrical engineering competence.
- Experience with LEAN work (e.g., 5S, SMED, Poka Yoke, Fishbone).
- Post-secondary education with a focus on production technology.
