About the role We are looking for an SQE to be placed with our client in Västerås. In this role, you will be responsible for handling complaints, root cause analyses, and improvement work. You will work closely with production, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure that established quality requirements are met.

Common tasks include:

• Registering and managing cases in (SAP).
• Requesting and following up on 8D reports from suppliers.
• Communicating with relevant parties and driving cases to closure.
• Deciding on incoming material inspections.
• Leading improvement activities for purchased materials and internal processes.
• Monitoring supplier performance and escalating when necessary.
• Managing outcome testing for new items or supplier changes.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who has:

• High technical competence and understanding.
• Several years of experience in a similar role and relevant higher education.
• Experience from the manufacturing industry and production processes.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
• Knowledge and experience in root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
• Structured, driven, and results-oriented team player.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
