In our operating department, we offer anesthesia and surgical services to various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and emergency management of trauma patients are conducted. Operation North consists of two sections, one focused on neurosurgery with endovascular intervention treatment, and the other focused on advanced abdominal surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotic surgery. Operation South has three sections, one focused on orthopedics, spinal surgery, hand and plastic surgery with burn care, as well as a section for children with mixed pediatric surgery. The third unit is the specialized unit that includes ear, nose, and throat surgery, jaw surgery, and anesthesia services for external activities. Our units conduct both elective and emergency surgery with work scheduled around the clock.

Job Description

As an operating room nurse, you will work in one of our sections, but with some introduction to other sections to participate in on-call work. This means that you work in your section but have knowledge of emergency procedures in each unit during on-call hours. We are now looking for employees for all our units described above. In your application, please specify which unit you are interested in.

If you are only interested in working nights, this is possible with us; at night, there are two surgical teams handling emergency procedures.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical nursing. You should have good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form as you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and maturity.

The work is characterized by excitement and variation where I can use my flexibility and problem-solving skills. I am a curious person and want to contribute to the development of the organization.

I am confident, self-sufficient, and structured and can plan, organize, and prioritize work. I thrive in teamwork and work well with others in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, I am an engaged person who wants to contribute to a positive work environment.
