Home Care Administration
The Home Care Administration is responsible for the care, support, housing, and activities needed by elderly individuals. The administration is one of the largest workplaces in the municipality with about 2,200 employees. We are constantly striving for development and renewal within our area of operations. The Home Care Administration is a modern employer that meets new needs and demands from the residents of Halmstad Municipality through an open climate and growth potential for renewal and change.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In our work, we start from the individual customer's needs and wishes to design good and close care and support. This is done in close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
A day with us involves care and support tasks, delegated interventions, and service together with wonderful colleagues. As a care assistant, you will perform qualified tasks that are part of the care assistant role, such as administering medication, insulin, and dialysis.
We have digital solutions for registering our interventions with customers, signing given medications, and documenting in our operational system and quality assurance system. We use digital keys for a secure and safe working method. Our digital solutions in the work mean that you are expected to be able to use both computers, mobile phones, and associated digital tools.
We provide and drive both automatic electric cars and manual cars as well as electric and traditional bicycles.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, preferably with experience in elderly care. It is also an advantage if you are familiar with systems such as Intraphone, Life Care, and SignIT.
You should be able to get around by bicycle and have a B driver's license. Digital tools are used daily, and you are expected to learn to navigate the digital systems we use.
We work every day of the week, and you are expected to work every other weekend. Working hours are during the day and evening.
As a person, you are accommodating and attentive to those you collaborate with, and you have the ability to create trust, security, and engagement among customers, staff, and partners. You need to be engaged and flexible in your work role to thrive and perform well.
You have good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish, and you enjoy working in a role with many contact points.
We expect you to have a good attitude towards everyone and to work according to the Home Care Administration's values of trust, respect, and humility.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
