We are looking for a robotics engineer with experience in embedded systems and real-time control who wants to take the next step – in a company that invests in both people and technology.

What does the role mean for us?

As a robotics engineer at ChopChop, you will work closely with both technology and operations – directly from our headquarters Gigachop in Rosersberg. You will be a key player in the team that builds and develops the software for our robot wok.

You will:

1. Develop control systems close to the hardware to give our robot life
2. Program in C/C++ for real-time critical parts and drivers
3. Work with motor control, sensors, and temperature regulation
4. Integrate control boards, communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, serial) and ensure robust control
5. Contribute smart solutions that make our robot both efficient and safe
6. Structure code, documentation, and workflows

We believe that you:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in robotics or embedded systems development
• Have strong experience in programming in C/C++ for real-time control
• Are used to working with motor control, sensors, or control technology
• Are familiar with version control (Git) and preferably CI/CD flows
• Are both structured and creative in problem-solving

Enjoy working closely with the team – but can also drive your own parts independently

Extra points if you have experience in:

• Image processing or AI (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow) – for future features
• PLC programming or integration with control systems
• Real-time OS or embedded-close systems

Location: On-site at our headquarters Gigachop in Rosersberg

Salary: Monthly salary according to agreement
