In our local operation in Karlstad, we produce and sell hydraulic components primarily to customers in the industrial segment around Karlstad and its surroundings. Our current revenue is approximately 50 million SEK, and we employ about ten people. Our operation consists of a store, warehouse, and a smaller assembly production. In addition, we actively engage with customers in the field, which this person will be responsible for.

About the role

The role also involves actively developing the local market, i.e., Karlstad/Värmland and surrounding areas, for both new and existing customers. You will have your own customer responsibility and drive the business from start to finish. The right person will have a strong presence in the field, build relationships, and establish trust. Together with your colleagues, we will find the right technical solution that meets the customer's needs. You will spend the majority of your time in the field, but in this role, you will also assist in our store as that is where we meet many of our customers.

Examples of responsibilities

  • Develop and process existing customers/businesses in the assigned geographical area, i.e., Karlstad/Värmland and surrounding areas. (Local market)
  • Identify opportunities and engage new customers in the assigned geographical area.
  • Actively engage with activities/campaigns set by the marketing department
  • Participate in activities at customer sites
  • Attend trade fairs and be a good representative for the company in external forums.
  • Actively contribute to the store's development regarding marketing/sales of HydraSpecma's product range.
  • Be responsible, together with other employees, for ensuring that the store has the offerings and functions required for the market.
  • Drive sales from the store, meet and assist customers in a business-like manner.

As we are a smaller team, we need to support and step in for each other. We are looking for a team player who can drive the business forward together with the rest of the team. Simple assembly of hydraulic hoses and purchasing from approved suppliers are examples of tasks that one may take on even though they are not included in this job description. You will report to the Site Manager, and the position is based at our site in Karlstad. The position is a permanent full-time employment.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience in B2B sales roles where you have had your own customer responsibility. You have previous experience in developing the market for both new customers and developing relationships/business with existing customers. You are used to driving business and identifying opportunities. If you have experience working with customers in the industrial segment, that is an advantage. Basic knowledge of hydraulics, control components, pneumatics, and central lubrication is also a plus. As a person, you should be technically interested and eager to learn. We are looking for a results-oriented person with structure and order. You should also be development-oriented, analytical, and have a good ability to see the big picture in business. You are cost-conscious and have good knowledge of business systems. Finally, you are social and enjoy collaborating. We see ourselves as a team and are therefore looking for another driven and responsible team player.
