What you can expect from the position

As a logistics manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily management of the warehouse, ensuring order and clarity, and maintaining a safe working environment. One of your main tasks is to ensure a well-stocked and sales-oriented store according to the season and time of year. Each store is unique, and it is important to stay ahead by following up and analyzing what customers are asking for. You will be a key person in the goods receiving process and will lead and distribute work during deliveries. It is your responsibility to ensure that the technical equipment is serviced and functioning properly. Having the correct inventory balance is crucial for the business's results, and therefore inventory counts are an important part of your work.

In addition to the specific tasks for the position, you will also work with your colleagues in the daily operations of the store. Together, you will ensure that the store is always ready for sales and that Biltema's customers receive the best possible service.

As a logistics manager, you will be part of the store's management team and report to the store manager.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a service-oriented person who understands that a functioning warehouse and optimal flow of goods are prerequisites for a successful store. As a person, you are analytical, responsible, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. You enjoy working in a team and believe that by collaborating with others, you can achieve more than you can on your own.

We see that you have worked in retail for at least 2-3 years and have experience in warehouse and logistics issues. You have good computer skills; planning and follow-up are not new to you. To fit into the role, you view challenges positively, are solution-oriented, and enjoy driving projects forward.
