Service Manager – Motor Trend Karlstad (Toyota & Lexus)

Motor Trend in Karlstad is now looking for a Service Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the service operations and drive it forward with a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. With us, we work with Toyota and Lexus, two brands that stand for quality, innovation, and a strong customer experience.

Your everyday life

As Service Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of our service workshop and lead a team of technicians and service advisors. You are the natural link between customers, employees, and management, ensuring that the entire process works efficiently, from booking to delivery.

You will, among other things:

  • Plan, organize, and follow up on the daily work in the workshop.

  • Be responsible for budget, follow-up, and profitability.

  • Ensure that we work according to Toyota and Lexus' high quality and service standards.

  • Drive improvement work with a focus on efficiency, structure, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop routines and working methods according to the principles of the Toyota Way and continuous improvement.

  • Support, coach, and develop your employees through present and engaged leadership.

  • Collaborate with sales and other functions to create a seamless and first-class customer journey.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in the automotive industry who thrives in a role where technology, leadership, and business acumen meet. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have an easy time creating engagement and participation in your team.

We believe you have:

  • Documented experience in leadership within service or workshop.

  • Good understanding of finance, key figures, and budget work.

  • Ability to work strategically while being operational in everyday life.

  • Strong sense of customer service and quality.

  • Experience or good knowledge of Lean/Toyota Way and improvement work (meritorious).

  • Experience working with Toyota and/or Lexus is an advantage.
