The Home Care Administration is responsible for the care, support, housing, and activities needed by elderly individuals. The administration is one of the largest workplaces in the municipality with about 2,200 employees. We are constantly striving for development and renewal within our area of operation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The nursing area includes both the short-term unit and the care and nursing home within the Home Care Administration.
You will work variably at both workplaces in a flexible manner based on the needs that arise in the operations. Your role is central to ensuring good and close care for our patients while contributing to maintaining quality and continuity in the operations.
In your role, you will be responsible for nursing interventions at the short-term unit and the care and nursing home according to the needs of the operations. You will be responsible for assessment, planning, and execution of medical measures such as medication administration, wound dressings, and monitoring of health conditions. You will take responsibility for accurate and thorough documentation in patient records and ensure that interventions follow applicable routines and guidelines.
You will work closely with care staff, rehabilitation teams, and other nurses to create a safe and secure care environment.
The operations offer regular professional development to ensure high care quality.
Working Hours:
- The position involves varying working hours with weekend shifts every fourth weekend at the short-term unit.
- Other shifts are distributed between the short-term unit and the care and nursing home, based on the needs of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care, short-term care, or hospital care. You are social, cooperative, and have a good ability to adapt to varying tasks and work environments.
Further education in geriatrics, open health and medical care, or mental health in the elderly is an advantage. Prescribing rights for medications are also seen as a benefit. You should have good computer skills, and experience documenting in digital systems via mobile and computer is a plus.
It is crucial that you are social, attentive, and independent, with the ability to create security for our patients. We also value a reflective working method and being solution-oriented.
A B driver's license for a manual transmission car is a requirement for the position.
