About Apoteket Skara

Apoteket Skara, with its nearly 300-year history, is located in a fantastic historical environment, right near the Stora torget and Skara Cathedral. The pharmacy is medium-sized. Among our customers, in addition to those who live or work in Skara, there are also several veterinarians and many pet owners. We currently have seven employees at the pharmacy and look forward to welcoming one more colleague to our wonderful team!

The working hours for this position are within the local pharmacy's opening hours: weekdays 09:00-18:00, Saturdays 09:00-14:00.

Your role

Our pharmacists always work with care, quality, and the customer's needs in focus. In your role with us, you contribute to a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for everyone who visits us. In your role, you will handle counseling, prescription dispensing, and self-care, and take responsibility for safety and service in every customer interaction. There is also an opportunity to develop within the LMA area. If you are interested in taking on more responsibility and broadening your skills, we offer good opportunities for that. The position is a one-year temporary contract, with good opportunities for continued employment. Either at the same pharmacy or at one of our pharmacies in nearby municipalities. Planned start is in March, but we are flexible and can bring the start date forward if that suits you better.

• Provide professional advice and create added value in every customer interaction, with care and understanding for people's different needs.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality in everything you do, so that our customers can feel safe with us.
• Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues – we grow and develop together.
• Stay updated on our product range and our campaigns, to provide customers with the best possible assistance.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to develop both the workday and customer experience at our pharmacy.

Who are we looking for?

For this position, you need to be a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician, with a clear interest in people, health, and medication. We welcome both newly graduated and more experienced pharmacists; the most important thing is your commitment and your willingness to contribute to our customers and the team's development.

• You preferably have a particular interest in, or experience with, the LMA area (a plus but not a requirement).
• You have a warm and professional demeanor where you see each customer.
• You enjoy collaborating and contribute positively to the team.
• We believe that you thrive in an environment where structure and results go hand in hand.
