This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at The Place but placed with the client. There are also very good opportunities for permanent employment with TKE.
Period: Start as soon as possible – June 2026. With the possibility of permanent employment with TKE.
About the role
As an Operational Purchaser at TK Elevator, you will be responsible for the daily purchasing work. You ensure that the right goods, materials, and services are available at the right time and actively work to optimize inventory management. The role involves close collaboration with technicians, suppliers, and the internal purchasing team, where you play an important part in the development of their business and purchasing systems. You report to the Head of PSM Nordics.
Your main responsibilities:
- Daily work in purchasing and inventory systems
- Support for technicians: find the right materials and suppliers as needed
- Ordering goods through purchasing systems and suppliers' web shops
- Handling deviations and issues with deliveries
- Identifying cost savings and driving efficiencies
- Updating and maintaining items and catalogs in the purchasing system
- Being a superuser for the purchasing system and supporting colleagues in the ordering process
- Invoice control against purchase orders
- Supporting strategic purchasers in procurement matters
- Following up and evaluating suppliers, including scorecard management
You also have the authority to:
- Order materials within given approval levels
- Select suppliers within your area of responsibility
- Reject purchases that violate company procedures or requirements
- Develop and improve processes, policies, and settings in the business system
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- At least 2-5 years of experience in operational purchasing work and a good understanding of the processes
- Post-secondary education in business administration, purchasing, or vocational training
- Are structured, solution-oriented, flexible, and communicative
- A strong sense of detail and the ability to manage many priorities simultaneously
- Enjoy providing support, having many points of contact, and taking responsibility for purchasing-related issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems such as (VISMA, SAP, Power BI, Jaggaer)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

Scope and placement
This is a consulting assignment full-time (40h/week) starting as soon as possible, until June 2026. You will be based at TKE's office at Storsätragränd 12 in Skärholmen and work office hours with the possibility of flexibility and remote work a few days a week. You will be employed as a consultant through us at The Place. There are very good opportunities for permanent employment with TKE during the period as the need is long-term.
