We are looking for more people who want to sell Faktum

Throughout the year, several hundred people sell Faktum on the streets and squares – from Karlstad to Ystad. Many try selling for a while and for others, selling is a necessity.

Several of them have been with us since the start in 2001!

Each seller carries their unique life story, and we encourage and support each individual at the place in life they are at right now.

The sales are also important for our continued work - to support our sellers in their daily lives, produce a newspaper with quality and award-winning journalism, and engage in social impact and advocacy on homelessness, social sustainability, and exclusion.

Can anyone sell Faktum?

You must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate in English or Swedish. These are the only formal requirements we have.

Everyone is welcome to an enrollment conversation, which you can do at our offices in Malmö, Gothenburg, or Karlstad.

We do not interfere with your reasons for wanting to try selling Faktum. The reasons can be many; for example, while waiting for a new job, lack of money, social isolation, or the need for routines in everyday life.

We exist for those who need us. Faktum is help for self-help.

How does it work?

After an enrollment conversation at Faktum, you will receive three newspapers for free, as your starting capital. You then sell these at the designated sales location. The customer pays, preferably with Swish, and you as the seller keep half of the amount, which is paid out at Faktum's office in cash and/or newspapers.

You decide how many you want to buy and then continue your sales on the street. We call our colleagues “venture capitalists” because they invest their own money to sell Faktum further to their customers.

We have no requirements on how many copies you must buy and sell, nor how long or when you choose to engage.

Everyone can have a bad day, another job, or the weather can just be terrible.
