As a Development Project Manager with us, you will drive and lead technical development projects focusing on production and production-related technology within the defense industry. You will be responsible for the project's timeline, budget, and quality – from idea to finished product – and lead cross-functional teams throughout the development chain.

In this role, you will ensure that requirements, technical solutions, and production documentation are well-defined, feasible, and delivered on time with high quality.

The team consists of experts in areas such as mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, verification, and industrialization. Together, you will develop complete products and systems, often with a strong connection to manufacturing and production. The role involves working closely with your team on-site, and some travel may be required.

You will, among other things:

• Be responsible for project planning, monitoring, and delivery
• Lead the technical work in product development
• Ensure that the product and process meet requirements for functionality, quality, and manufacturability
• Manage risks and drive improvement work
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, and quality to ensure an effective transition from development to series production.

Here, you will have the chance to work with technically advanced products in project form, contributing to both innovation and efficient production.

You are likely an experienced civil or industrial engineer who has worked for at least five years in a leading role within production development, industrialization, or production-related technology. You have experience driving technical projects from idea to finished product and thrive in the intersection of development and production.

To succeed in this role, you have previous experience as a project manager or leader, where you have been responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring that technology, quality, and delivery go hand in hand.

You are confident and clear in your communication – both in Swedish and English – and have the ability to create engagement and collaboration across departmental boundaries. You see collaboration as a given to achieve common goals, and you are a team player who contributes to a positive and solution-oriented culture.

• Civil or industrial engineer, or equivalent experience
• Experience in production-related development and/or industrialization
• Experience leading projects, teams, or technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Security Classification: The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
