We are now looking for you who want to take the step as shift leader for our track work team at Tjintokk in Slagnäs – a role where you work side by side with the team but also ensure that the work runs smoothly with quality, safety, and structure.

What the job entails:

As a shift leader, you ensure that our land and ice tracks are kept in top condition – through snow removal, ice preparation, grading, sanding, and other important field operations. You operate machinery, you are with the team every day, and you do the job – for real. But with that comes a clear leadership responsibility.

• Distribute and follow up on tasks according to instructions from the track coordinator
• Lead the work in the team and ensure that routines are followed
• Motivate the group and create good collaboration
• Conduct ice measurements in consultation with the track coordinator
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed
• Provide clear work information to the next shift

You are simply the hub of the team during the shift – both in the machine and in communication.

We believe that you are:

• An experienced machine operator who likes to take responsibility
• Used to working in teams and getting others to collaborate
• Structured, solution-oriented, and clear
• Comfortable making decisions – even in a snowstorm

What you need:

• B driver's license (mandatory)
• Experience operating machinery (mandatory)
• C driver's license (advantageous)
• Experience leading others (advantageous)
• English and/or German (advantageous)

Practical:

• Shift pattern: 7 days work / 7 days off
• Position: Seasonal employment
• Location: Slagnäs, Arjeplog
• Salary: According to collective agreement
