Job responsibilities

As the Sales Manager, you have a central role where you combine a present operational leadership with a long-term strategic responsibility. You lead and develop a team of about 20 salespeople and ensure that goals and budgets are met by being close to the daily work. This means that you hold sales meetings, conduct listening sessions, coach, and provide continuous feedback to develop the team's performance and build a strong team spirit. 

At the same time, you are part of the company's management team and actively contribute to driving Live Expo's long-term growth and development. Together with the other management, you design and implement strategies that strengthen the company's competitiveness and market position. 

In the role, you balance the operational and the strategic, where you are both an inspiring and present leader for the sales team and a driving force in the company's overall development.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Extensive experience in operationally leading larger sales organizations with both experienced and junior salespeople
  • Experience in developing a sales organization
  • Experience in sales with shorter sales cycles
  • Fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form, good knowledge of English in spoken and written form

As a Sales Manager, a combination of strong leadership, business acumen, and operational drive is required. You are a clear and present leader who can inspire and motivate a larger sales team. With a natural ability to build trust, you create engagement and get your employees to want to perform at the highest level.

You have good analytical skills and follow up on results and activities to ensure that goals are met. At the same time, you are solution-oriented and quickly identify obstacles in the sales process to drive improvements that make the work more efficient. You are also coaching and development-oriented, providing regular feedback, holding development conversations, and helping each salesperson grow in their role.

To succeed, you also need to be results-focused and structured. You can prioritize and create clear processes that contribute to a goal-oriented way of working. At the same time, you maintain flexibility and decisiveness when conditions change and quick decisions are required.
