Job Responsibilities

We are 3 occupational therapists in Team Aktiv who work together with a physiotherapist and a dietitian. As an occupational therapist within Primary Care Rehabilitation, you will meet patients of all ages and with various types of diagnoses. You will meet patients in their homes or at our clinic, individually or in a team. Here, you as an occupational therapist are an important part of our patients' rehabilitation.

Team Aktiv Primary Care Rehabilitation has been providing rehabilitation for the population in Hässelby-Vällingby since 1995. We have 3 occupational therapists, 2 dietitians, and 8 physiotherapists who together develop and are responsible for the operations.

The job responsibilities include, among others:

• Activity and functional assessment/investigation/training, providing advice and support on self-care.
• Conducting dementia assessments as part of a basic dementia evaluation in collaboration with general practitioners.
• Prescription of assistive devices and information about products and technology.
• Assessment of housing and surrounding environment and environmental measures such as housing adaptation.
• Hand rehabilitation individually or in group treatment such as Osteoarthritis School.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, guide and support relatives and healthcare staff, as well as supervise students. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed occupational therapist with Swedish authorization. It is an advantage if you have worked in Primary Care, have experience documenting in the Take Care journal system, and have good knowledge of Swedish and English. You should have a B driver's license (manual transmission). Since we work in patients' homes, you must be able to handle environments with pets and not be sensitive to smoke.
