Description We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist Professional for an exciting consulting assignment with an international industrial client in Ludvika. In this role, you will be a central part of developing and driving strategic sourcing activities, focusing on long-term supplier relationships, cost efficiency, and quality assurance. The assignment is suitable for you who thrive in an analytical and solution-oriented role where collaboration with different functions is a key success factor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the supplier base focusing on quality, delivery reliability, and total cost.

• Define and implement local sourcing strategies in collaboration with the Category Manager and in line with regional goals.

• Conduct supplier evaluations and initiate improvement projects.

• Negotiate and establish standard agreements, price lists, and purchasing terms.

• Identify and qualify new suppliers in close collaboration with Supplier Quality and Engineering.

• Drive benchmark studies and initiate and follow up on cost reduction programs.

• Support the business in matters related to Supply Chain Management.

• Map and optimize P2P processes in SAP S4, manage Vendor MasterData in SAP MDG, and key processes in Adonis.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

• Experience in strategic purchasing or sourcing work within B2B.

• Documented negotiation experience and ability to develop supplier relationships.

• Experience with SAP S4, SAP MDG, and Adonis.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (CV to be submitted in English).

Meritorious:

• Experience from an international industrial environment.

• Knowledge of Swedish or another Nordic language.

• Experience in leading cost reduction initiatives and improvement work within purchasing.

Conditions

• Start: September 25, 2025

• Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension

• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Location: Ludvika, on-site
