Do you want to play an important role in a leading expanding family business, where you work with field sales? Are you a social and service-oriented salesperson looking for a varied job with a lot of customer contact? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new field salesperson in Östergötland!

What does the position entail?

“Hydroscand is an international family-owned company that offers solutions and services for hoses, fittings, and related products through a customer-driven and decentralized organization.”

Your main tasks as a field salesperson involve both proactive outreach and managing existing customers, where you will be present at the customer's location in both cases. You will implement and plan activities that generate profitable business for both the customer and the company, both in the short and long term. Additionally, you will participate in trade fairs and open houses.

You will sell both our products and our services, with a strong focus on promoting our mobile hose service SlangExpress. In addition to new customer visits, you will also have recurring visits to predetermined customers where you will take orders, solve delivery issues, and follow up on inquiries.

You will work in an area that includes Östergötland and Nyköping and surrounding areas. You will be based at one of our branches in Norrköping, Linköping, Motala, Mjölby, or Nyköping. You will report to the regional manager and work closely with site managers and branch employees in the region.

Who are you? To thrive in the role of field salesperson, you should be attentive and genuinely interested in sales. We also want you to have excellent social skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with both customers and colleagues. As a person, we prefer that you are positive, driven, responsible, and self-sufficient.

You should have the following background:

  • Experience from the industrial/manufacturing sector, preferably with a background in hydraulics and/or automotive technology.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in new customer acquisition and proactive sales.
  • Knowledge of contract writing and budgeting.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience with any business and CRM systems.
