As a waitress/waiter at Slottshotellet, you will be part of the guest's overall experience – from the first coffee in the morning to the last cocktail in the evening. The role is varied, social, and requires both hospitality and independence. Examples of job responsibilities:

• Responsible for the breakfast buffet, from prep to service and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere in the dining room.
• Serve classic à la carte dishes and handle beverage orders - here you are welcome to use your interest and knowledge in beverages, even though we do not require expertise.
• Actively work with upselling and contribute to a first-class overall experience.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen but also feel comfortable working independently during your shifts.
• Other tasks within hotel/restaurant, including dishwashing, cleaning, prep, etc.

• At least 3 years of experience in à la carte service - preferably from a hotel environment.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• High social competence.
• Basic computer skills.
• If you also have bar knowledge and beverage experience, we see it as a great plus.

Start: Immediately, by agreement

Working hours: Varied working hours including evenings and weekends.

Location: Slottshotellet, Kalmar

Employment type: Permanent position, 50-75% employment rate. We apply a 6-month probationary period. We are affiliated with the collective agreement of the hotel and restaurant union.
