Car Mechanic – Job Responsibilities

In the role of car mechanic with us, you will work independently but also be an important part of an engaged team. You will perform everything from basic service and troubleshooting to more advanced repairs and maintenance of cars and light commercial vehicles of various brands and models. Our workshop serves both private and corporate customers, providing you with a varied and stimulating workday.

Responsibilities and daily tasks in car service and repair

• Service, troubleshooting, and repair of cars and light commercial vehicles
• Preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, brake replacements, and checking vehicle components
• Replacement and repair of components such as exhaust systems, suspension, and engines
• Work with both mechanical and electrical systems
• Customer contact and advice regarding repairs and maintenance
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an efficient and safe workshop

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a car mechanic or automotive technician, preferably from a general car workshop
• Good technical understanding and broad competence in automotive technology
• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on various types of vehicles and brands
• Driving license B (manual) is a requirement
• Basic computer skills (e.g., diagnostic tools)
• You are proficient in Swedish or English, both spoken and written
