MACC People has vaccinated over 450,000 people since 2021 and opened in Västra Götaland on behalf of the Region in August 2023. We cover large parts of the region with both physical locations and mobile units and are now looking for reinforcement of a nursing assistant for our pop-up operations in Skene ahead of the autumn vaccination campaigns.

About the position

You will be responsible for and work with our pop-up operations in Skene where we have both physical reception and mobile reception. In our physical reception, we perform venipuncture, offer vaccinations, and health checks, and in our mobile unit, the MACC van, a smaller motorhome equipped as a vaccination clinic, we provide vaccinations and testing in the smaller municipalities around.

We work on behalf of the region with a focus on subsidized vaccinations. The autumn campaign for Covid and influenza starts in mid-October and covers a total period of 9 weeks, of which about 6 weeks are more intensive with high capacity and availability in the form of extended opening hours.

Working days vary in length, during the day, testing usually takes place in the morning and afternoons. During the period from October to December, the reception is open 5-7 days a week and one to two mobile units will also operate 5-7 days a week.

The position is an intermittent need-based employment and is suitable for you who wish to work sporadically; there is also the possibility of continued work after the autumn campaign.

Start according to agreement; we are working with ongoing selection in this recruitment.

You are responsible for:

• Assisting with vaccinations for e.g. TBE, shingles, HPV, seasonal influenza, booster of existing basic protection, and Covid
• Medical advice
• Simpler record-keeping
• Handling payments
• Simpler inventory
• Reporting of KPIs
• Venipuncture
• Health checks

Your qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, flexible, responsible, socially outgoing, and has excellent teamwork skills. You need to be confident in your role and able to handle venipuncture.

• Requirement for a protected title as a nursing assistant or equivalent professional experience
• Requirement for very good experience and habit of taking venous blood samples
• Meritorious with B, B96, or BE driving license and driving experience for work in the mobile unit.
• Meritorious with experience of the journal system MittVaccin or HLTHY as well as Labportalen.
