Marketing Coordinator (Fixed-term employment 6 months)

Grand Group, consisting of Grand Hôtel Stockholm, Lydmar Hotel, The Sparrow Hotel, and Mathias Dahlgren's restaurants, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a fixed-term employment of 6 months for a fast-paced and enjoyable role in the communications department starting immediately in September.

In your role as Marketing Coordinator, you will be involved in most of the communication activities within the operations. In your daily work, you will handle ongoing marketing activities and lead small to medium-sized projects within the department. You will primarily work with digital marketing but will also participate in content photography and PR events.

In the communications department, we are a close-knit team of three, but we also collaborate with external colleagues such as PR consultants, photographers, developers, and art directors.

In this role, you will report to our Head of Communications and work from The Sparrow Hotel once a week and the remaining days from Grand Hôtel on Blasieholmen. You will also have a work outfit provided by the hotel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The following tasks are included in the role:

Digital

• Update websites (Wordpress, TravelClick, Drupal)
• Set up email campaigns (Mailchimp, Canva)
• Respond to reviews (Google Business)

Creative

• Create and update marketing materials – presentations, signs, street talkers, advertising materials, and social media content
• Create text and image content for newsletters
• Create stories (Canva)
• Plan and coordinate content photography
• Basic mobile photography (for Sparrow)

Social Media

• Daily community management (DM and feed)
• Plan and schedule posts in the feed and stories (Instagram)
• Update other social channels with news-oriented content
• Edit text for posts

WHO ARE YOU - You have 1 - 2 years of experience in a role as an assistant or coordinator within similar responsibilities

- You have clear project management skills

- Detail-oriented and meticulous

- A sparkling aura that you love to share with others

- Appreciate a job that is very varied and fast-paced

- A passion for the hotel & restaurant industry and communication

- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
