JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Team Leader at Infranord, you are a role model who engages and motivates your colleagues daily in their work and sees it as natural to create good and respectful relationships. You have personnel responsibility for the Signal Technicians in your workgroup. You also have responsibility for the work environment and lead, plan, and distribute the daily work in the workgroup, where the work varies between new construction, operation/maintenance, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. You work on behalf of the Site Manager, who is also your immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education in the electrical and energy program or equivalent. We prefer that you have experience in leadership and personnel responsibility and have knowledge of or experience from the railway industry or related industries.

You work in a structured manner and are used to planning, executing, following up, and delivering according to set goals and timelines. You have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others as the work is carried out in close cooperation with both your own workgroup and other technical branches. Business acumen, flexibility, and service ability are prerequisites for delivering to our customers.

Work on the railway requires you to be attentive and meticulous and to have a strong safety focus. You will establish work preparations and safety planning for assigned tasks in the track environment. Good computer skills/administrative ability and the ability to learn and understand new data systems are prerequisites for succeeding in the role of team leader, as tasks such as follow-up, reporting, material orders, and control documentation in various data systems are included in the job responsibilities.

Work outside regular office hours occurs, and we work in various locations along the railway, so travel may be required. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Signal technical education
  • Professional experience in signaling work within the railway
  • Safety and security planner (SOS planner)
  • Supervisor (TSM)
  • SISÄ authorization
