About the position:

As a project manager at MRM Mining, you will take on a broad and varied role with responsibility for industrial projects, primarily within the mining industry. You will be responsible for project management from start to finish, including budget, scheduling, and quality monitoring. You will work closely with their foremen and clients to ensure that all parts of the project are delivered according to set goals.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for drawing review and technical project management within mechanics and industrial construction.
• Participate in bidding work and establish new business opportunities through active market scanning.
• Lead and support foremen and staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Hold construction meetings and have primary responsibility towards MRM Mining's customers.
• Collaborate with other team members and ensure that the project is delivered according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Ensure a safe working environment and follow guidelines within HSE (Health, Safety and Environment).

About the projects:

MRM Mining operates in a dynamic environment with projects of various scopes and sizes, primarily within the mining industry. Current projects include everything from conveyor replacements, new constructions both above and below ground, to ongoing maintenance. The projects are mostly located in Gällivare and Norrbotten but also occur in other mining industries around Sweden.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in project management, preferably within mining or heavy industry.
• Possesses technical knowledge in mechanics and industrial construction, including reading drawings.
• Has supervisory experience and is confident in leading teams.
• Has basic theoretical knowledge in budgeting, purchasing, project economics, and project administration.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
• Has knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and experience with risk assessments.
• Is accustomed to a flexible work role and comfortable with potential travel requirements.
