Licensed Psychologist for BUP Internet Treatment

Do you want to deepen your expertise in a specific area of child and adolescent psychiatry? Our organization is growing, and we are looking for an additional licensed psychologist for BUP Internet Treatment, possibly the world's first internet treatment unit for children and adolescents.

BUP Internet Treatment is a relatively new initiative within BUP and a result of several years of successful research in the field. The unit's purpose is to provide internet-mediated treatment to children and adolescents. Job Description

You will work, together with a small team of psychologists and administrators, on child psychiatric assessments and internet-mediated cognitive behavioral therapy. Currently, we offer treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders and functional abdominal pain, as well as the parent support program iKomet. In 2025, we will also implement treatment for adolescents with self-harming behavior. At the clinic, we all help to continuously improve the unit's routines and processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus and experience working with children and adolescents.

Previous experience working with adolescents with self-harming behavior and/or i-CBT is an advantage.

BUP Internet Unit is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 in the Stockholm region. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within the Stockholm Region. Together, we are approximately 1,000 employees who meet over 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families each year.

• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
