About the Position

On behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry, we are now looking for a Freight Coordinator. The role is suitable for you who want to work in a central function where planning, coordination, and administration of transport are in focus. You will be an important part of ensuring efficient deliveries both within Sweden and internationally. You will be employed directly by our client, and the position is to be filled immediately.

Responsibilities 

In the role of freight coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, booking, and following up on the transport of both materials and finished products. You will coordinate daily transport flows and act as an important contact person for freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers. The work also includes handling freight and customs documents as well as following up on any discrepancies.

You will prepare the necessary documentation for each transport and support both customers and internal departments with questions related to transport and shipping. The role also involves administrative tasks related to production, customer support, and export. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to the development and improvement of the company's logistics and transport processes. Profile & Background

We are looking for someone with experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding, preferably from the manufacturing industry. You have good IT and system skills, as well as excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Your working style is structured, independent, and service-oriented. Experience working with the business system Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured and thrive in a coordinating role with many contact points. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating in an international environment.
