About the workplace

The Food and Goods Distribution is looking for temporary substitutes to our wonderful team in Uddevalla municipality.

As a temporary substitute within Food and Goods Distribution, you have the opportunity to influence when you want to work. You are responsible for entering your availability in our booking system, and you will be booked based on that availability. The exact times you will work will vary and are often determined with short notice, and the administrators within Meals are responsible for managing and planning short-term substitutes.

Job Responsibilities

The Food and Goods Distribution consists of five distributors and is tasked with delivering food throughout Uddevalla municipality. They visit customers daily in the form of citizens and our municipal operations.

• As a distributor, you are responsible for delivering food from the preparation kitchen to the serving kitchen as well as meal portions to individuals living at home.
• You order food packages from an agreed supplier and distribute these to the customer. Distribution occurs every day of the year.
• The goal is for the food to be delivered on time and for the correct items to be delivered to our customers.

Who are we looking for

• You are well-organized and used to following timelines to achieve desired results.
• You have good collaboration skills with both colleagues and customers, can work independently, and are energetic in your work.
• This is a job with a sometimes high pace, involving a lot of running up and down stairs, requiring good spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Driver's license (B)
• You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• You have good computer skills and can handle digital tools.

We also consider it meritorious if you have:

• A completed high school education
• Previously worked as a distributor
• Experience in service of any kind
• Good local knowledge of the area you are applying for.

Other

For work in our operations, you are required to present an extract from the police criminal record.

We ask that you provide the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of two references. They should be individuals in a supervisory position. If you cannot provide a supervisor reference, we will also accept a reference from a placement or teacher.

Applicants in all operations are required to submit an extract from the criminal record before employment.
