Workshop Mechanic at Källhage Truck

In the role of workshop mechanic, you will work in a modern workshop with the repair, service, and preparation of forklifts – both new and used. You will also be responsible for larger repairs that are not carried out in the field. The work is done in close collaboration with the service manager and other colleagues, where you also provide technical support and handle simpler orders for spare parts. The position requires a strong focus on order and accuracy, as well as a willingness to pitch in where needed – everything from troubleshooting and electrical work to grinding, painting, and cleaning of forklifts. You report your work via a mobile app and have daily contact with both colleagues and customers.

This is a direct recruitment, which means that we at StudentConsulting handle the recruitment process and you will be employed by Källhage Truck. The start date is according to agreement and the position is full-time.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in the repair and service of forklifts, construction, or agricultural machinery.
• Has good knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and mechanics.
• Can grind, paint, and lacquer.
• Is computer literate (troubleshooting often occurs via computer).
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently.
• Has a valid driver's license (B).

It is a plus if you:

• Have a forklift license.
• Have knowledge of welding.
• Can speak and write in English.
• Have training in forklift testing and fire safety.
