Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 14-year-old girl living in Värmdö
• Has good physical condition to assist with transfers
• Has a driver's license and access to a personal car
• Has good knowledge of Swedish

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Share similar interests with the girl, such as singing and being active

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 25%. The job involves working during day and evening hours. You will work every Friday and every other weekend. Your shifts will be as follows:

Every Friday from 5:20 PM to 9 PM Work every other weekend, one weekend a month Saturday-Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM and one weekend a month Saturday-Sunday from 3 PM to 9 PM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Working at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can provide valid identification and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
