About the role

As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring transports from start to finish. You will be the spider in the web between internal teams, warehouses, and external carriers. Your daily tasks will vary from handling documentation and customs papers to ensuring that deliveries are made on time and with high quality.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and book transports and choose the right route for each delivery.

• Ensure that all transport and customs-related documentation is correct.

• Maintain ongoing dialogue with carriers and freight forwarders to resolve any challenges.

• Follow up on deliveries and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize flows and reduce storage costs.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport coordination.

• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work solution-oriented.

• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various parties.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation is a plus.

• It’s a big plus if you have relevant post-secondary education in supply chain, purchasing, or finance.
