Local Strategist

Job Responsibilities

As a local strategist, you have overall responsibility for monitoring the local stock, needs, and utilization of premises in the short and long term. You are contract responsible towards the municipality's property company. The position has ordering responsibility and is responsible for the drafting of decisions in local matters regarding new construction, renovations, and disposals, along with associated follow-up and reporting.

The position also includes being a project manager in various local or investment projects.

The municipality's investment activities focus on implementing quality-enhancing measures that are economically and sustainably long-term. As a local strategist, you will also support department heads in planning and executing investment projects. You will work closely with department heads as well as with others in the finance department who are involved in budgeting and financial follow-up of investment projects and procurement. You will have a central role in the investment activities from the long-term investment process to supporting the various departments in the recurring reporting.

Additional Information

Full-time, fixed-term employment until 2025-12-31 with the possibility of extension. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university or college education focused on property issues or other education or experience that we consider equivalent. We prefer that you have several years of experience in the field and have worked as a project manager with contracting and legal issues. You are confident and professional in your role. You must have a good ability to build and maintain trusting relationships as well as the ability to think strategically and innovatively. You have good communication skills in both speech and writing.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
